It is with mixed feelings that we announce that after eight years of service, AssignByWeb will cease operations on December 31, 2009. Our website will be unavailable after that date.

To provide for our customers' continuing need for a software assigning system, we have made arrangements with ArbiterSports to transfer the accounts of any AssignByWeb customer that would like to become a customer of ArbiterSports. As part of the arrangement, ArbiterSports has offered to credit the remainder of your term with AssignByWeb if you become an ArbiterSports subscriber*.

We believe ArbiterSports is the best fit for our customers. ArbiterSports is the longstanding industry leader and we are very impressed with their company, their assigning system, and their dedicated staff. Not only are their features the most similar to ours, they have many features you have requested over the years that we were never able to implement. For all of these reasons, we are excited about your assigning opportunities with ArbiterSports.

We have worked with ArbiterSports to create a process that we believe will make the transition as straightforward as possible. ArbiterSports has assembled a team specifically to help AssignByWeb groups that wish to do business with ArbiterSports to move their accounts and be trained on the ArbiterSports system.

The team at ArbiterSports will be happy to discuss their features, policies and pricing to help you decide if ArbiterSports is the right solution for your group. They will also explain the process and timing for importing your data and answer any questions you may have about ArbiterSports.

For groups that are interested in switching to ArbiterSports and do assigning for winter sports, we recommend you contact ArbiterSports by November 30. Interested groups that do not assign winter sports should contact ArbiterSports by December 31.
